NOIRE is a unique virtual grand piano by Native Instruments, meticulously sampled from composer and pianist Nils Frahm’s customized Yamaha CFX concert grand. It offers two distinct instruments: “NOIRE Pure” for a clear, unadulterated grand piano sound, and “NOIRE Felt” which features a felt moderator for a softer, more intimate tone. Beyond its pristine samples, NOIRE includes an innovative “Particles Engine” to generate swirling harmonic elements, alongside extensive sound design controls for ultimate creative flexibility, making it ideal for everything from classical and jazz to cinematic scores and experimental soundscapes.
