The Westwood Upright Felt Piano is a unique and intimate Kontakt-based instrument that captures the warm, muffled tone of an upright piano with a felt strip placed between the hammers and strings. Recorded in the crypt of a church, this library offers a distinct character perfect for alternative film scores, folk, and ambient music. It was sampled using vintage, high-quality microphones and includes multiple microphone positions that can be blended to achieve a range of sounds, from a dry, close tone to a more lively room sound.
