Description

The Toontrack UK Pop EZX is a drum library expansion for Toontrack’s EZdrummer and Superior Drummer software. It’s designed to deliver the iconic drum sounds of British pop music, spanning from classic beats to modern, mix-ready tones. The library was meticulously recorded at London’s renowned RAK Studios by acclaimed drummer Ash Soan (Adele, James Morrison) and Grammy-winning producer Mark Taylor (Rod Stewart, Cher). It features four full drum kits, along with extra snares and cymbals, offering a broad sonic palette. The EZX also includes a variety of percussive elements like stomps and claps, and different playing techniques such as sticks, mallets, and even towel-damped samples for a vintage sound. With seven distinct mix-ready presets and an extensive library of MIDI grooves played by Ash Soan himself, the UK Pop EZX provides an authentic and versatile tool for creating rhythm tracks inspired by British pop mastery.
