The Big Band EZX is a drum library expansion for Toontrack’s EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3. It’s a tribute to the golden age of big band jazz, meticulously capturing the sounds of two complete drum kits from the 1930s and 1940s. Recorded at the legendary Capitol Studios by producer/engineer Al Schmitt, this EZX provides a rich, authentic drum sound, perfect for adding a touch of classic swing to any production. The kits include various configurations, with options for sticks and brushes, as well as with and without snare wires, offering a wide tonal palette from warm and intimate to thunderous and energetic. The expansion also includes mix-ready presets and a selection of big band-inspired MIDI grooves to jump-start your compositions.
