Description

The EZX Alt-Rock is a drum library expansion for Toontrack’s acclaimed EZdrummer and Superior Drummer virtual drum software. It is specifically designed to capture the raw, unadulterated sound of 90s alternative rock. The sounds were meticulously recorded by legendary producer Steve Albini at his iconic Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.

The EZX features two full drum kits—a Ludwig Club Date and a DW Collector’s Series—along with a host of additional snares, kicks, and cymbals. The focus is on a natural, live sound with a lot of room ambience, a trademark of Albini’s production style. The pack also includes a selection of MIDI drum grooves inspired by classic alternative rock music, making it easy to create authentic and powerful drum tracks.
