The Toontrack EZX Traditional Country is an expansion library for Toontrack’s EZdrummer and Superior Drummer software, designed to deliver the iconic, saturated drum sound of classic 1950s and 1960s Nashville country music. The drums—including vintage Rogers, Ludwig, and Apollo kits—were meticulously recorded at the legendary Quonset Hut Studios on Nashville’s Music Row, using period-correct engineering techniques to capture the studio’s inimitable, authentic room ambiance. The EZX includes three complete drum kits (two sampled with sticks and one with sticks and brushes), three additional snare drums, a large selection of cymbals, and a library of mix-ready presets and classic country MIDI grooves. It is the essential tool for achieving the nostalgic, organic drum tone that defined the genre.
