This EKX (EZkeys Expansion) delivers the beautifully intimate, warm, and velvety sound of a meticulously recorded upright piano that has been modified using the classic technique of placing an extra layer of felt between the hammers and the strings.

Ideal for singer-songwriters, folk, acoustic pop, and any genre demanding a soft, delicate, and close-mic’d feel, the Felt Piano EKX features:

• Intimate Tone: The felt layer significantly reduces the hammer attack, resulting in a muted, round, and warm resonance.
• Versatile Presets: A wealth of mix-ready presets utilizing multiple microphone positions (under the keyboard, in front of the soundboard, etc.), ranging from natural and warm acoustic tones to atmospheric, processed soundscapes, some with subtle synth textures.
• Custom MIDI: Includes a basic MIDI library specifically tailored for the instrument to provide instant musical inspiration.
