The Hollowbody EBX is an expansion pack for Toontrack’s acclaimed virtual bass instrument, EZbass. This EBX captures the warm, resonant, and unique sound of a rare 1967 short-scale semi-hollow electric bass (modeled after a Gibson EB-2).

Ideal for a diverse range of genres, including acoustic pop, singer-songwriter material, indie rock, new wave, and goth, the Hollowbody EBX delivers the best of both worlds: the thud and earthy depth of a semi-hollow body combined with the articulation and electric twang of a vintage electric bass. It was meticulously sampled with half-round strings and offers both finger and pick playing styles for maximum tonal versatility.

In addition to the instrument itself, the expansion includes a comprehensive set of mix-ready presets and a custom MIDI library of basslines tailored to the instrument’s niche styles, making it an invaluable tool for adding character and warmth to your bass tracks.
