The Pianoverse Liberty Upright is a virtual instrument plugin that brings to life the rich character of a historic 1915 Koch & Korselt upright grand piano. This unique library, part of IK Multimedia’s Pianoverse collection, was meticulously sampled twice: once in its original, “relic” condition with a naturally detuned sound, and again after a master tuning. This dual-sampling approach offers an expansive tonal palette, from an authentic, century-old sound to a pristine, restored voice. Beyond its core piano sound, the plugin is a powerful sound design tool, with advanced controls for lid position, harp resonance, pedal noise, and an extensive collection of built-in cinematic effects and generative sound spaces to explore.
