The UNA CORDA plugin for Kontakt delivers the distinctive, pure, and often ethereal sound of a custom-made upright piano with only one string per key. Developed by Native Instruments in collaboration with piano maker David Klavins and composer Nils Frahm, it offers a unique sonic palette ranging from soft, resonant tones to percussive and textural sounds. With three distinct sound banks (Pure, Felt, and Cotton preparations), comprehensive sound design controls, and an intuitive interface, UNA CORDA is ideal for contemporary classical, film scoring, jazz, pop, and electronic music.
