The Toontrack Vintage Rock EZX is a drum expansion pack for Toontrack’s EZdrummer and Superior Drummer software. It is a meticulously sampled collection of classic drum sounds designed to evoke the raw and authentic feel of 1960s and 70s rock. The core of the library is a legendary Ludwig Keystone drum kit, famously used by drummers like Ringo Starr and John Bonham. The EZX includes additional snare drums like a Ludwig Black Beauty and a Slingerland Radio King, along with a variety of vintage cymbals. The samples were recorded with both sticks and brushes, providing a versatile palette for creating everything from hard-hitting rock beats to nuanced, funky grooves.
