Description
Spitfire Chamber Strings is a premium virtual string library designed for Native Instruments Kontakt, widely regarded for its intimate, detailed, and expressive sound.
Description
Unlike massive symphonic libraries, Spitfire Chamber Strings features an intimate ensemble of 16 London string players (4 First Violins, 3 Second Violins, 3 Violas, 3 Cellos, and 3 Basses) recorded in the iconic Lyndhurst Hall at AIR Studios, London. This smaller configuration provides greater definition, clarity, and focus without sacrificing the hall’s natural hall resonance.
-
Articulations: Includes over 244 articulations—comprising short notes, long sustain patches, special FX, and advanced legato transitions designed by Andrew Blaney.
-
Recording Chain: Recorded using vintage valve and ribbon microphones, Neve Montserrat preamps, a Neve 88R console, and 2″ Studer tape.
-
Microphone Positions: Includes Close, Decca Tree, and Ambient mic signals for blending dynamic sound stages.
-
Integration: Fully compatible with both the free Kontakt Player and the full version of Kontakt.
